Want a quick and dirty guide to today’s online marketing strategies? Inbound Marketing is the book you need to start with. Written by Brian Halligan and Dharmesh Shah, the book outlines social media tools and gives step-by-step instructions on how to use them for your company’s good. As a someone who, previously, has only learned marketing techniques as they relate to design, I found this book completely accessible and inspirational. In fact, I found myself emailing a client at midnight, excitedly regurgitating all the ways we could improve their online presence!

Ironically, no one seems to be monitoring (or at least not monitoring well) the Twitter account associated with Inbound Marketing University. There’s a lot of spam showing up in their sidebar widget.
