This is a throwback to early work for the University of Arkansas, but Samantha is proud of it. She was just starting to find her professional voice and was pushing the boundaries of type and layout. These two newspaper ads for the Office of Student Mediation and Conflict Resolution demonstrate using typography to communicate graphically as well as literally.
Combing hand-drawn and digital elements quickly became a favorite challenge as shown in this poster for First Year Experience.
